Hello everyone
I am new in simulation
I need help to simulate water filtration in rotating cylindrical membrane
Can anyone help me please?

Cylindrical Membrane?
 
If the membrane is cylindrical, simplest option would be to consider the membrane as a wall. Use DPM for particles and escape condition at the membrane for DPM. Do note if the particle volume fraction is more than 10%, you will have to use dense phase DPM.

Membrane
 
It would be expected that you have the answer to that since you are trying to simulate the filtration. For a simple scenario, since it is water and sand, the membrane could be a sieve with size smaller than the sand particles. But then you do not need a rotation; you can just pour the water over the filter and collect the water in a container below. The process could certainly be continuous.

So, the rotational system would only be required if you design a membrane that allows sand particles to pass through but stop the water. The explanation I shared earlier pertains to this system.
