VOF, Boiling, When surface tension = f(T), Spurious currents appears

1 Attachment(s)
hello,

I am simulating a pool boiling problem, I am using the VOF method and inbuilt phase change module. It works fine, but a soon as I use surface tension as a function of temperature, spurious currents appear at the interface Attachment 78204.

any help would be highly appreciated

Surface Tension Modeling

This is an artifact of surface tension modeling, usually with CSF approach. Try using CSS instead. Furthermore, if Ca is very low, you might require very fine mesh or LSM so that curvature is predicted correctly for surface tension modeling.

CSS did not work eitherAttachment 78260. Read somewhere, LSM + VOF does not work for phase change in Fluent. Will try refining mesh further.
