aminhgn is on a distinguished road
I am new to UDF, I am trying to apply the following equation to calculate the contact time in multiphase flow:

t = l/usurf

where l is the liquid flow distance. At each moment, the coordinates of the liquid in each cell could be obtained so the flow distance could be calculated.
I am trying to understand how to calculate l (liquid flow distance) by UDF based on mentioned explanation.

Thank you in advance for your help.
Amin
