Hello,

I simulate the evaportion process of a saturated droplet (pentane) in water.

The simulation is 2D, axissymmetric, Eulerian with Multi-VOF
I patch the drop after Initialization.

At the end of the simulation I want to say something about the mass transfer rate or the current vapor mass ratio. The Mass Flow in the Report section is always 0.

It would be nice to have the area of vapor, liquid, and continuous phsae in the domain. Or the Cell there are covered in the Domain. Or to give out the mass transfer rate for the pentane.

A - area of the whole domain

Av - area of the vapor in the domain
Al - area of the liquid in the domain

Ac - area of the continous phase in the domain

I tried everything in the Report: Surface - area, integra, sum; Volume - Average, volume, etc... Nothing give the area of the Phase ID in the Domain.

Is there any possibility to give this area?
Or is there a possibility to calculate the Cell of the Domain completly filled with one Phase (when you seperate all Phase ID and say, right only is Phase ID 1, left onle Phase ID2 etc.)

I didn't find any other post in that case. I hope someone can help me.

Thank you for help,

EvaKn
