Hi

I am relatively new to CFD.

I am trying to study lubrication flow in a transmission case file.

From not knowing what VOF is a month back, I now know that I need to use VOF for my project.

I've come a long way but I still don't understand why there is an option to choose from "Phase", we can choose from the mixture, phase1, phase 2 even when we select the given named identity as "solid" in cell zone conditions.

Please refer to the attached picture for clarification
