Hello, I performed multi-phase simulation about given picture. I tried VOF model to solve it, skin friction coefficient & mass flow rate of inlet/outlet/other critical place are stable at each time step(0.001s).
But, I concerned about is it suitable model to given situation, because FLUENT theory guide told me VOF model is not suitable that each phases interpenetrate each other. Can you suggest other multiphase model that suits to my case? Or other considered issues? |

Hello,
I think VOF is suitable as you are tracking the water-air interface. Otherwise, kindly specify the aim (what you are actually trying to predict) of your simulation. Regards, |
