fluentuser2003 is on a distinguished road
hi, i want to solve the trajectory of an object in air using six dof and dynamic meshing, however the problem is that is this particular problem , the object has a fixed constant axial velocity, rest its free to move in 5 degrees of freedom.

how can we restrict the object in 1 degree ie the axial velocity to a fixed value and use six dof to solve for the trajectory in other five degrees

i hav used a basic six dof udf , specifying mass and moment of inertia . but n unable to set axial velocity to a constant through out

thanks in anticipation
