Hi, honored everybody

I'm trying to specify a transient boundary condition for a cas, which, with spacial variant within each time step. But when to the fluent help, the transient profile could vary only in time and must be spatially uniform.

That is, i wish to write a time-varied profile of a boundary in one cas. And specify this to be the inlet for another cas. For example, I wish to run a cas with a "large zone" to generate a water wave. And obtain the time-varied profile (including velocity, vof factor, etc.) for a "local zone" to run the fluid-structure analysis.

if I use the UDF define_profile, the transient profile could be done, but only with regular time and spacial functions. not the arbitrary ones as "wished" above.

many thanks !!
