udf for Roughness Constant, Cs > 1
 
Hi, everyone,

I am modeling a domain that has the surrounding area with non-uniform & non-homogenous surface roughness, in which case the surface Roughness Constant, Cs, is outside the upper limit of the range (0.5 - 1.0) that can be specified in Fluent.

I desire to specify a value of Cs greater than 1.0 as has been done in previous researches, and this requires udf.

Pls., could someone kindly help me with the udf codes for writing constant-value Roughness Constant, Cs.

I was wondering if you have wrote a udf for a wall roughness.
I was similar problem and I would appreciate your help.

I've read your post though it's bit old post.

However, it was so challenging because I do not have lots of experiences about both CFD and C++ language coding.


If you don't mind me asking, can I get your UDF (User Defined Fucntions) codes?


I would like to unlimit wall roughness constant more than 1. (0.5~1.0 as default in FLUENT)


I've spending a tremendous time to have homogeneous profile in ANSYS Fluent but all attempts were doomed to failure.



I would really appreciate your deep consideration for the beginner who really struggles with ANSYS Fluent's UDF coding.
