Compiling_define_udf

I am trying to define a velocity profile and a non-Newtonian viscosity model. The problem that I am facing is that when I am compiling it, after build it is showing in the console that the UDFs been copied but after loading it, it is not getting loaded. What should I do?

Post your UDF here. There should be some mistake preventing it from being compiled.

Do you get 'The UDF library you are trying to load............' error?

If so there may be something wrong with your compiler/visual basic set-up.

Thank you for your reply..........................I think its either a problem with my compiler setup or may be virsu problems

Do you have the windows SDK installed? If you have it, try loading fluent from SDK command window. If not I suggest that you install it. Without SDK compiling UDF will not work.

Thanks......but what is SDK?

SDK is Software Development Kit. You need SDK 7 or 7.1 for udf compilation.

Please read this file. It might solve your problem.
