Hi all,
I have heat source inside the pipe material,
Since it was taking lot of time to make unsteady analysis of fluid flow inside pipe (getting heated over length), I removed fluid domain and gave inside surface a convection boundary (constant HTC and varying stream temp over length)
Since to activate(hook) it I had to use DEFINE_PROFILE for feeding variation in stream temp.
udf is simple(profile=exponential fun of y(direction y is along length of cyl))
I could compile n run this, but I know this might be wrong
Now my Q is, as there is no fluid portion(I have removed fluid domain), which face cell thread it considers and F Centroid it calculates, does it consider inside surface since HTC and varying stream temp. is given as a boundary condition on this surface?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks
