Hello all,
I am trying to use an UDF in Fluent 6.3. This UDF works very well in Fluent 14.5 but when I want to use in Fluent 6.3, I have recieved an access violation error. The problem is due to UDM that is applied in the UDF; but I do not know how I can solve it.
when I ignore UDM variable, UDF works very well in Fluent 6.3; but by adding UDM, I have recieved the violation error again. Moreover, the mentioned UDF has been compailed without any error.

Hi,
Could you give some more details?
According to me, access violation happens when FLUENT tries to access something that is not there.
Ex: while calculating gradients (if written in Define Adjust), in the first iteration, an error will come as no gradients are stored, so it is advisable to attach that UDF after 1-2 iterations.

Hi,
thank you very much for your answer. My problem is how can I use UDM(user defined memory) in Fluent 6.3? Fluent 6.3 can not access to UDM value; whereas, its value is defined in UDF.
