hi

i m doing simulation on Inertance tube Pulse tube refrigerator. For this i have used dynamic meshing option for Piston n compressor walls. To do this i linked the UDF to piston n defined it as rigid body n compressor wall as deforming body. After linking whn i see the zone motion preview the piston motion is in oppsite direction ..instead to cming inside it goes outside . Pls help me.

Hi:

Were you able to solve your problem?

I am modeling a pretty similar problem. I got the motion right, but have convergence issues. Maybe we can help each other out. Thanks

How are you defining the motion? UDF? what function?

Please let me know if you are trying to model any specific papers.
