Hi,

I am working on porous media with local thermal non equilibrium model. (ANSYS Fluent), and I use a UDS for solid temperature.
My question is : did I need to define a new thread (for the solid cell zone ) in my solid source term UDF ?

thank you.

your question is not clear
you may try to post here your code, so people could understand what thread are you talking about

best regards

hi
i'm working on coupled heat radiation transfer in porous media with with local thermal non equilibrium model. (ANSYS Fluent).
i implemented the P1 model for the radiation to compte the radiation source term in solid equation.
my question is in UDf the temperature that called C_T(c,t) is for the fluid or for solid in this case.
best regard

No, you don't need to define new thread.
The temperature of the fluid and solid will be the same C_T(c,t)
