Basic question regarding compiling a UDF
All,
This is a general question regarding compiling and loading UDF into ANSYS Fluent. Do I have to run a case first without the UDF and get results before going back, compiling the UDF and then re-running the case? I keep getting "motion history missing" errors. What could this refer to? I have checked the UDF manual but it only addresses how to create, compile and interpret UDFs. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Best regards, |
No, you need to compile the UDF first, hook it to your problem (initial conditions, DEFINE_ADJUST, properties, etc.), initialize it and run.
