Hello all,
I am beginner to learn dynamic mesh model. i have model simple 2D box and my purpose is to rotate small box inside the big one in anticlockwise direction and rotation is to be limited to 30 degree.

I have made use of udf for angular velocity for box as shown in below image, I have put simple formula as omega(2)=theta/time=(30*pi)/(2*180) where time is 2 sec.
but as number of time step increases from 1000 to 10000 the rotation continues in CCK direction but i need only 30 degree then how to stop the continuous rotation of block.

Is there need to change udf, if anyone tried please help me out..!!!

Thanks in advanched

Dear all,

I am looking for a way to find the location of the maximum temperature in cell zone using UDF. Getting the maximum value of temperature is easy, but so far I have not been able to get the coordinates of the maximum temperature cells, Does anyone know how to do this in fluent using udf?

Best regards!
