Dear all,

Would anyone be able to provide the udf.h file to me?

The udf.h file is in the following folder:
path\ANSYS Inc\v120\fluent\fluent12.0.x\src\

where "path" is the folder in which you have installed ANSYS FLUENT.

https://www.afs.enea.it/project/nept.../udf/node8.htm

I have a UDF source code that I want to use on another CFD platform but I do not have the FLUENT udf.h file which contains the macros definitions and functions.

Please reply to this post and I could provide my email.

Thank you very much!

mnws

What is "another CFD platform"?

Different software? A different computer?

I ask this because you are asking a very strange question. To use a UDF, you need Fluent, and if you have Fluent, you have udf.h... So I don't understand your situation.

Star-ccm+.

I wanted to take a look at udf.h to see if i could use it on star-ccm+. I'm new to the concept of using udf, thought I could cannibalize fluent's udf.h and .c files or write a similar code for use on star-ccm+. I wanted to ascertain if udf.h could be used outside of fluent. I guess not. Thank you for the reply!

Your guess is correct: it is useless to have udf.h in Star.

But it was worth asking!
