What UDF are you using and have you tried compiling instead of interpreting this UDF?

I use the exit compiler, i don't know what compiler is proper (identifying the path) for fluent 6.3.26, on windows 8.1?
I want find version of Visual Studio that match with these conditions.

Microsoft Visual Studio works well for compiling the UDFs for ANSYS Fluent. Supposedly, Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 is compatible with Fluent v6.3 (source).
