Since I had a lot of trouble making my UDF work with Windows 7 64bit I added an entry to the FLUENT FAQ's.

Hi sega,
thanks for sharing your knowledge in the wiki. I found your post here because when I tried to compile an udf with fluent opened from a visual studio command window I got errors saying that my source is x64 and target is x86.
I followed the suggestions in the wiki. But when I try to compile an udf in fluent startet with the suggested SDK command prompt I know get the feedback:
Code:
Creating user_nt.udf file for 3ddp ...
(system "copy "C:\PROGRA~1\ANSYSI~1\v162\fluent"\fluent16.2.0\src\udf\makefile_nt.udf "libudf\win64\3ddp\makefile" ")
        1 Datei(en) kopiert.
(chdir "libudf")(chdir "win64\3ddp")# Generating ud_io1.h
strain_source.c
C:\PROGRA~1\ANSYSI~1\v162\fluent\fluent16.2.0\tgrid\src\hash.h(16) : fatal error C1083: Cannot open include file: 'basetsd.h': No such file or directory

Done.
Have you or anyone else experience with this and any advice how to solve this problem? That would be great!

Thanks, I already found the problem. I installed the more recent Windows SDK and added C:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v7.0\Include to the enviroment variables as a search path analogous to what is recommended in the wiki
