dear all;

I encountered a problem when i compile the udf in fluent's tourial champter 21. When I try to build Libary 'libudf' as it says in the tourial, Fluent always messages me that Link: fatal error Link 1104 can not find LIBCMT.lib.
What's wrong? Could u tell me what should I do? I do have this file in my visual studio 2008...

MAny thxs

THx dear all, by asking another experienced fluent user, I have solved my problems.

I ran the FLuent.exe in the visual studion command prompts. And then the conduct.c can be compiled.

Here is another thing I would like to share with u. I dont install my studio on the system disk. That is to say Micro SDks and M VS are in deferent disks. Thus when I load fluent in the command prompts at first time. Fluent messages another bug: Link error 1141, can not open kernel32.lib. The solution can be as essy as copying kernael32.lib into /vc/lib

Dear sosososo1114 ,
I have encountered the same problem you issued. Would you like to tell me how to solve this problem in detail. How to run the FLuent.exe in the visual studion command prompts?

Thank you very much!

@xingangzheng

1. Add fluent to your Windows path (this means that if you write fluent in the Command Prompt and press Enter it will start Fluent), for adding a program to the Windows path do a search on Google.

2. Open Visual Studio 20xx Command Prompt and from here start Fluent, this way Fluent will know where to search for the C compiler.
