solidification and melting
 

Hai All,

I have written a UDF for temperature distribution along the surface of a slab.i could get the distribution correctly but when i m trying to look at the contours of solidification and melting i couldnt see any change evn aftr reaching the melting temperature.I have taken solidus and liquidus temperatures in the material properties.

Please suggest me what could be the problem???

you may scale your geometry to lower scale or try for small time step size or give large no. of iterations..
