About the macro of define_wall_functions
Hi everyone,
Did anyone use the DEFINE_WALL_FUNCTIONS macro? I was just confused of the variable "wf_ret" included in the variable list. Since this wf_ret is very important, it means whether the flow is in laminar zone or not. From the theory of standard wall function, we just know that the criteria is the transition yPlus, which is 11.225 for instant. However, from the example of that macro, there are five options for this wf_ret, and the returned value of this macro depends on this value. It can return U+, dU+ and d2 U+ up to the wf_ret value. So could you please tell me algorithm to determine this variable inside FLUENT? BR! LEI |
