Need help with BOOLEAN operation
 

I am current working on a 3D curved foil using ANSYS FLUENT13. The foil model was imported with .stp file which created by SOLIDWORK. A flud volume was added by creating a big box and add frozen.

When create BOOLEAN for the foil, There is a error "Operation would result in non-manifold bodies".

Can anyone point out what went wrong?

The problem was because the foil shape was a surface type model.
