Dear all,

I am new for Fluent. I am currently working on IC Simulation for Canted Valve Engine Using Hybrid Approach, the tutorial comes with ANSYS.
However, correct decomposition is required. Meanwhile, the specific mesh for different zones is needed. Can I edit mesh in Fluent?

Thank you so much in advance!

mmm in Fluent it is possible to divide the mesh but it'is very hard. The best solution is to import in DesignModeller/Ansys Mesher your model...this softwares are much better than Fluent in order to change the mesh.

I hope this is what you need.

Thanks a lot for your reply,F!

What I have for now is .msh file only. It seems that I cannot open this kind of file in DM because the files come with tutorials, which means it has been meshed by others. Any idea in this case?
