Boundary profile initialization in Fluent13

Hello,

I want to write the boundary profile at the outlet of a 2D simulation and want to use it as inlet boundary condition for other 2D simulation. I could read the boundary profile correctly in Fluent 13 in the inlet boundary condition drop down box, but once i do standard initialization, i don't see the profile in the inlet (XY plot), i see only constant value.

Can any one help me out in identifying the exact reason.

when you do a standard initialization, you get the constant values of the quantities indicated on the panel at the chosen boundary. given profile in the inlet boundary condition will be considered after the first iteration. You can also make the hybrid initialization to get the variable quantities.

Dear oborona,

Thanks for your reply. I have checked the inlet profiles after few iterations, it shows constant values.
