Hello,
I need URGENT help for following problem related to output from FLUENT. I have a two quantity relative pressure and velocity magnitude distribution in computational domain. I have plotted a graph or output for the absolute pressure and velocity with respect to x-axis or longitudinal axis of domain. Now I want output as power which is defined in my case as: Power=0.5* P * U * c/s area * Cos (phy) Where P =relative pressure U =Velocity magnitude Value of c/s area and (phy) is known to me and it is constant. Can any one help me how can i do it in the FLUENT ????? I have also attached pressure and velocity graph for more clarification. Similarly, I want the power distribution. Please, it is URGENT. Thanking you, Regards, CHIRAG FADADU |

I do not know how exactly you can do this but I think you've to write a journal and define a new parameter in it. So you can get a report by using this parameter.
Any one has any better idea?I'm eager to know the exact way! |

I think you can use from fluent a custom field function (?)
http://hpce.iitm.ac.in/website/Manua...g/node1364.htm Or you can write your own udf to export in a file your results.. Daniele |
