VAWT simulation
Hey all :)
Basically i am working on darrius turbine (VAWT) Which is composed of a rotating domain slightly greater than the turbine radius and stationary domain around the rotating one working with omega =25 rad/sec wind speed =5 m/sec the following is the steps of solution 1- PB/transient 2-realizable k-epsilon 3-cell zone the i gave the internal domain mesh motion with 25 rad/sec 4-BC ....gave the blades rotational speed zero relative to moving domain ...setup inlet velocity 5 m/sec.....select the edges of moving and stationary domains to be interface instead of wall 5-creat mesh interface between edges of moving and stationary domains then complete the normal steps after finishing i found the Cm:( to be very high can any one tell me what i should do more to get the right solution please |
