specifying continuum

Hi all,

I have two volumes meshed using tet/hybrid in gambit. Actually, i want it to be merged into single volume with the faces connecting the two volumes to be considered as continuum. Due to dynamic memory limitations, I had to split it into two volumes for meshing. While specifying boundary conditions, i did not assign anything to those two faces. While exporting to fluent, it says a default fluid continuum has been assigned to volume 1 and volume 2. But when i open the mesh file in fluent, the two faces still remain as wall. The mesh has been exported by considering the two faces as walls, which is default in fluent. What should i do to make the walls disappear or how do i specify a continuum condition for the two walls.

Suggestions are much appreciated.

Thank you
Rgds
