Hi
temperature in porous media is belong to fluid or solid? i think it is same as velocity or pressure, but i'm doubting about it. i will so thankful if give me a main reason. the temperature of solid and fluid are the same or not? Last edited by arminheidari; July 11, 2012 at 06:22. |

Hi.
User's Guide :: // 7. Cell Zone and Boundary Conditions // 7.2. Cell Zone Conditions // 7.2.3. Porous Media Conditions quotation: "By default, ANSYS FLUENT assumes thermal equilibrium between the porous media solids and multiphase fluid flows. The solids temperature is thus estimated by phase temperatures. However, the solids temperature can also be calculated by a UDS equation (User-Defined Scalar (UDS) Transport Equations)." P.S. Understanding of realization of porosity in Fluent not a problem, a problem to consider radiation on a surface of the porous environment. If it will understand and there will be more or less adequate approach - please write. :-) |
