hello,

I have a fluent result (case-data file) and I want to visualize it in GUI.

with the version 12.0, it was possible to only show the edge of the geometry before define filled-contour to see the field of velocity, pressure... on faces or defined surfaces

the commands was :
  • /display/set/contours/render-mesh? yes
  • /display/set/filled-mesh? no
  • /display/set/mesh-partitions? no
  • /display/set/rendering-options/surface-edge-visibility yes no no yes 2
  • /display/set/mesh-surfaces list_of_surfaces_to_show ()
  • /display/zone-mesh ()
but today, the same commands don't work anymore : nothing appears on the screen

does anyone know why ?

thank you for your answer

Hi Laurence,
I don't have V14, but I found out that the TUI commands changed between V12 and V13 - my journal files written in V12 had to be changed when I moved to V13.
Maybe that is also the case with V14?
You can have a look at the help where you'll find the list of text commands available, you'll probably find out where your commands are now!
Regards,
Marion.

thank you for your answer.

I used the v12 release before installing the v14 too, and I've also noticed some differences between these two releases

but, in this case, what is strange is that when you are using GUI, no edge appears on the screen, and when you use the same commands inline (fluent 3d < commande_file, with the commands written in the file commande_file) the resulted figure (/display/save-picture figure_name) have the edges drawn !

so I suppose it's an error in the GUI of the new release !
