Hi

I have performed wedge impact simulation in 2d using fluent. But having problems in post processing. i need to validate the result with experimental data. kindly advice how to get max body force or impact force on the wedge, as it enters water. i have seen star ccm simulation and they are calculating body force on the wedge to compare results. however in experiments and published papers, max pressure is obtained at various locations along the wedge. So why we need to calculate body force and how?

In addition how to calculate max pressures or body force at different discrete points and which pressure, static, dynamic or total?.

thanks
