Dear All,

The FLUENT 13.0 User Guide gives details on how the RANS equations are obtained using time-averaged reynolds decomposition for incompressible flow . I've read that for compressible flows it beter to use density based model and not pressure based model

Does in FLUENT 13.0 the density based model use the Favre averged Navier-Stokes equations instead of the RANS ???.

Thanks in advance.
