Question Velocity profile for fluid partially filled in pipe

I would be a great thankful to those who will help me in solving out this problem-
How to get the velocity and pressure profile for liquid flowing through the pipe which is half filled??????? how shall we do modelling and meshing for it also? is offline   Reply With Quote

Why don't you do a second simulation of just a long pipe? Use some arbitrary boundary conditions at the inlet and at the outlet you will get a correct profile. That's what I do to get correct profiles for single phase pipes.
Sounds like the perfect spot for the VOF multiphase model, right?
No idea. I think it will be necessary to refine the grid along the water / air surface, right?
