Hello everybody,

I wondered whether anybody has problems importing his/her data from Fluent to Paraview as well? I already read some past threads and exported the data as *.encas file, renamed it as *.case file and read the data into Paraview using the "EnSight Files" option (I couldn't find the "little endian" option at my version of Paraview). As soon as I do this it seems like part of my file is loaded, but neither the data nor the object is shown and can be shown in the display window and Paraview is shutting down, if I try to continue.
One thread also said that maybe the size of the file is too large, but I don't know how to get a sufficient small file...
It would be really nice, if somebody could help me!
Thanks a million!
Lilly

I ran a steady state simulation in fluent and now would like to post process it in Paraview. Did exactly what you did. As a result I could view the surface and make slices through my geometry but the contour filter does not show active. I would like to view some contours.

I do realise that this thread is really old but I am struggling with this. any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Check the more current Paraview/Fluent thread started by "aerospaceman", I've posted some information that may be helpful.

Edit: You are in the thread already, nevermind. = )
