Hi everybody;
I`m working on gas flow between engine cylinder and piston.
I have assumed Combustion chamber pressure as a pressure inlet.
Now,question is,how can I Definition the inlet as a transient?

I am not an expert in this but I guess you have to use a UDF for the transient inlet conditions

hi mate,
if you want your inlet to change with time, you need to write a udf, which is DEFINE_PROFILE macro.

You can also define a profile for a transient BC. A profile is essentially a BC Value vs. Time set of data. Fluent linearly interpolates values for flow times that occur in between Time data points you supply.
