Hey,

As a starter with Fluent I am trying several tutorials and basic features. I just tried to model a simpel heater (with inlet en outlet) in a square room (2D). Al results are fine, exept the temperature. When I plot the contours of the temperature I get results even outside the mesh I made in Gambit. How is that possible?

regards,

Vcent

HI
i am not sure whether it is converged.the best way is to evaluate your results with theoretical quantities like Nuselt number in a pipe with cte heat flux(4.36) or f=64/Re or you can check the profile of velocity or profile of temperature.the profile should be PARABOLIC.
please post some picture of the results and the geometry of your model.

It has been solved. It was just a matter of changing the scales of the vectors. Thanks for the help!
