Hi,

I am simulation a dam break problem in fluent. I am trying to validate the model with experimental results. The propagation of shoreline matches well when I consider 0.01 of volume fraction in Water phase but when I try to match the free surface the volume fraction need to be around 0.5.

Anyone know the reason? Please help.

Many thanx

hey, is there anyone knows any reason for this? I am really confused with the results.
The free surface by the experiments goes across the surfaces of volume fractions.
