Hi,
I am simulation a dam break problem in fluent. I am trying to validate the model with experimental results. The propagation of shoreline matches well when I consider 0.01 of volume fraction in Water phase but when I try to match the free surface the volume fraction need to be around 0.5. Anyone know the reason? Please help. Many thanx |

hey, is there anyone knows any reason for this? I am really confused with the results.
The free surface by the experiments goes across the surfaces of volume fractions. |
