How to determine drop in pressure

Hi all,

I'm working on a simulation about a pipe streamed by water.
I would like to determine the drop in pressure from the inlet to the outlet based on friction.

What happens, if I use the data from the inlet. I think maybe it is zero because of the boundary conditions.

What would you do?

Thank you for your help=)

for this cases usually used velocity inlet & pressure outlet
after problem solved u have pressure in inlet.
if u dont have velocity in inlet but have pressure in inlet u can suppose a velocity for inlet and after solving problem compare with actuall pressure and if have invalid pressure chang your velocity in inlet!
