Parallel fluent launch

Hi every body
Fluent gives me this massage during running parallel fluent on my laptop

"Host spawning Node 0 on machine "Eslam_Lap" (ntx86).
You can press CTRL+C to stop the startup process!
Error while connecting to host, No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it. (10061)
Connect on sock (host=Eslam_Lap, port=8678) failed, exhaused all end points
Unable to connect to 'Eslam_Lap:8678',
sock error: Error = -1"

What do it mean? and how can i solve this problem?

Can you run fluent non-parallel (serial) mode without any issues?

The error basically means that the Fluent process cannot start because your machine is not allowing it to. This usually means that some firewall is preventing the fluent start up process.

Yes, FLUENT can run serial on the machine. Sometimes FLUENT runs parallel on my machine and very often refuses.
I'll try to turn off the firewall.

Another issue with laptops is the presence of both ethernet and wireless internets. Fluent is usually configured to only use one of those. Whenever the wireless is enabled/disabled it can interfere with the fluent start-up process as the default interconnect is no longer available.
