Doubt in "Pathlines" Setings in FLuent

Question Doubt in "Pathlines" Setings in FLuent

HI,

In the Graphics & Animation section in Fluent, when I click the Pathelines option a dialog box appears (attached below).

In that, what does Step Size and Steps mean?

If I run the iteration for 500 times and if I give the STEPS to be 1000, then will FLUENT run 500 more iterations?

Hi,
These parameters define the precision of the pathlines, Fluent will not run more iterations on your model.

If you have workbench, I would suggest to use CFD post instead...
