Hi
I'm student and I want to simulate boiling of water in Fluent. I don't have so nice channel, I have to use unstructural mesh. I'm using mesh with triangle elements. I guess I have to simulate it as a transient flow with using gravity, also when i will set up model I should turn on energy equation, multiphase model... I read and try the tutorial from Ansys about boiling where was use nice geometry of channel. My question is can I set up models, solution method etc. same as in tutorial from Ansys when I use quite complicated geometry and unstructural mash? Thanks for your help, I'm open for every advice |

The mesh type has no bearing on what you can solve. Most meshes are unstructered in fact because of how complicated the geometries are.
