Mohsen.B is on a distinguished road
Dear all
I would like to model cavitation in the journal bearing by fluent 6.3 but when I use cavitation model, my solution is diverged!
I used small relaxation factors and also small mesh but the solution did not change. Also I tried to solve the problem by both SIMPLE and SIMPLEC algorithm but I can’t achieve a converged solution!
Can anyone help me?
thanks

well, I'm trying this problem too on ANSYS workbench and it diverged. I'm still trying to figure this out though

any solution? Why you are using cavitation model? why not half Sommerfeld boundary condition??
