fluent problem on combustion
friends... i am doing simulation of "combustion of methane air in diverging micro channel" but I am not getting appropriate result. Even I am not getting flame. sometime I am facing floating problem and non positive volume problem...so pls help me that how can I solve this problem..by using fluent. and also tell me that what boundary condition i must use and use of model to solve it....is this problem relate to laminar or turbulent.??

hi...., I read the cold flow problem.... but problem is littile bit different. I am doing simulation of combustion of ch4+ air(its species) in a divergent channel but i dont know the value of mass fravtion of ch4 and air species at inlet and outlet for a perticular equivalance ratio.....means suppose for equivalance ratio = 1 or 1.2
what will be the value of ch4, co2, c, o2, n2, h2o, etc at inlet and outlet...that is why I am not getting the exact flame and results....pls help me if possible.... |
