Simulating Heat transfer in Two-Component internal mist cooling with thin film
How do i model this?! I have a tube with heat flux through its walls. The inside wall of the tube will always be covered with a thin evaporating sub-cooled liquid phase and there is nozzle generated spray (mist) as core. Two component = Non condensable gas + vapour component. So, the thin liquid film provides an evaporating medium while the fine mist core droplets continuously feeds the liquid film thereby preventing breakdown of the film (prevents dry-out). Scope : To study local heat transfer coefficients expecting high heat transfer co-efficient s due to phase change at the interface between liquid film and the mist core.
How do i start modelling this. Should i model the tube wall and liquid film and the mist core separately? or is there any other way??
