Mass Flow Rate Custom Field Function

Hi everyone, I just have a pretty quick and simply question,

I am using Ansys Fluent 13.0 and I am trying to create a custom field function for mass flow rate in order to use it in addition to another custom field function. My question is where can I find the area value that I need for this? I know mass flow rate is rho*V*A but the only areas I can find are related to the cell faces and therefore gives me the incorrect mass flow rate.

I know I can find mass flow rate under the monitors, reports, and xy plots but I specifically need to write it as a custom field function for my purposes. If anyone can help me with this small problem I would greatly appreciate it.

Maybe you should use UDF or UDM, I donot think you can do this by custome user define funciton.

Thanks Yanlong, I actually managed to find a slightly less direct way to do it. I just calculated the mass flow rate with a surface integral and then made a custom field function to divide this calculated value by the instantaneous density and axial velocity in order to give me the area at any point along the flow and simply defined this field function as "area"
