error message "-1.#IND"

i have specified boundary conditions and values (for example 1 m/s for velocity inlet) and have came to "solution initalization". i have select the boundary in the solution initalization to input again 1 m/s in the boundary but there is already a value which is "-1.#IND"

what is the problem

and is there an error box which identifies every error's meaning.

the minus of velocity depended on your coordinate system.for example if your flow direction parallel to x axis the velocity must be +.and if opposite you will see - value.

Are you using UDF in your simulation? If yes, you defined a wrong formula somewhere something like "-1/0" or you've reached upper limit of data size to store a double or even it may rises due to a wrong math operation e.g. sqrt of a negative number.

no, I am not using UDF.

is it imposible to simulate 2D vertical annuli flow.
I mean, inner tube the heat transfer fluid flow and the annulus gap air take place. i want to solve natural convection into air.
