Pressure Coefficient and Drag

I am looking at the flow around a cylinder, focusing on velocity and pressure, and how its affects the Cp and Cd values.

I have attached my 2 Cp curves for 60ms and they are shown in comparison to a study by WASET & theoretical solution.

I was told that the drag coefficient is equal to the difference between 1, and the base pressure coefficient (where the curve plateaus) ... is this correct?
