AQWA - which compiler f90

Hi all, I am using ANSYS AQWA. To account for external forces I need to compile the user_force.f90 to produce the relevant .dll file. Could someone please suggest a suitable compiler for windows7 64bit.

what procedure should I be following?

Thank you,

Cheers,

Hi Jiko,

I am trying to user external forces by user-subroutines in ANSYS AQWA, too. Do you solve your problem? Would you like share information that show how to use user_force.f90?

Thank you

Hi phanh,

I used visual studio 2008 with Intel visual Fortran and the dll worked for me. I am not sure why it wasn't working with the latest versions of the visual studio and Intel Fortran composer. If you still have problem then you could send me your fortran file and I can try to compile it for you.

Hi All,

I succeeded for compiling user subroutine in ANSYS AQWA. In input file of AQWA NAUT, I included two parameter ( FDLL option and RUFC command) so that it can be run to account external forces. However, the solution was failed due to below error:
**** INPUT DATA ERROR :LINE 7 USER FORCE CONTROL PARAMETERS OUT OF RANGE 1- 0

This line was defined as RUFC command.

I am not familiar with user subroutine in ANSYS AQWA. Could you help me solve this situation?

Thanks
