sand inside cylinder

can anyone teach me how to initial sand inside the cylinder in fluent??

If you mean to add a solid phase in your model, just select the zone from initialization and patch the value for solid mass fraction. It'll work. One more thing, if you didn't already define a zone for this, use adapt tool and mark the interest zone.

my situation is there are two buried pipe ; water pipe and gas pipe. The water pipe leak cause the water flow erosion the gas pipe.

I already patch the sand domain in volume fraction 0.95.
However, when i open the cfd-post, why not have streamline between water leakage hole towards the gas pipe??
