Hi,can anyone tell me if I forget defining one surface as outlet in Gambit, can I do something in fluent instead to define the outlet boundary condition?
I have tried to define a surface called "outlet" at the location where the real outlet is, but I can't find it when I open the "boundary conditions" dialogue box. I don't want to go back to Gambit to do this definition then take a long time to export the mesh, so can anyone help me? Thanks! |

In mesh display dialogue box, try clicking all the surfaces one by one, you should get the name of the outlet that FLUENT recognizes.

Since you cann't find the surface in the boundary conidtions menu, I guess,
you haven't separate these grid cells into a individual part. Right? You can do this in Fluent by Mesh -> Separate ->Faces.. More details can get from section 5.8.2.1 in Ansys Fluent User's Guide. |
